Dental Hygienist
As a native Nevadan, Heather completed her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Nevada Reno and continued on to the Dental Hygiene Program at Truckee Meadows Community College. There she was awarded the Outstanding Professionalism Award and has maintained membership with the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
For more than 10 years Heather has expanded her education to provide the latest advancements in oral health care, including certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry for dental hygienists. She has combined these advanced certifications with her educational background to provide a whole-body, systemic approach to oral hygiene.
When Heather isn’t caring for her patients at Floss, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Avery and husband Joe. She also loves traveling, diving, and reading. Heather’s patients will take comfort in her attention to detail and appreciate her drive for perfection. Your time away from your family is important, and you can rest assured that during each visit with Heather you will be treated like a part of hers.
