What is the procedure like for All-on-Four implants?
First, at your pre-procedure exam, Doc will take a CT (cone-beam) scans to get a precise mapping of your mouth and the ideal place for the four to six implants. You will discuss how you want your new teeth to look, shape, size, color etc. Next, your implants as well as your fixed prosthesis will be ordered from the lab with your precise measurements and goals accounted for. It takes about two to three weeks from the date of order for the implants and prosthesis to be shipped to our office and ready for your surgery date.
Most of the work is done while you are out of the office with the lab technicians and Doc so that the day of your surgery it is smooth and efficient. At your appointment for the implant (and possible extractions) procedure, Doc uses a custom designed surgical CT guided stents for the placement of the implants and seating of your prosthesis making your visit more streamlined and predictable, resulting in a much better and precise outcome.
