Makenzie was born and raised in Reno and attended the University of Nevada before completing her education in Boise, where she graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Carrington College. While attending Carrington, she was her class Vice President and was awarded the Leadership Award at the conclusion of her program. The Leadership Award recognized her ability to connect with others and inspire them to reach the best of their potential.

Makenzie moved back to the Reno area after practicing dental hygiene in Boise for several years. Makenzie enjoys seeing patients of all ages and takes pride in building relationships with each patient and their families.

When Makenzie isn’t working with the Floss team, she loves to be with her baby son and her husband, Tyler, and their labradoodle, Yogi. She loves hiking, reading and cooking in her free time, and will never turn down a trip to Disneyland. Makenzie can’t wait to see you in the office!
