Mayra is a friendly and passionate dental assistant who brings energy, connection, and compassion to every patient experience. Originally from Houston, Mayra moved to Reno several years ago with her boyfriend, two dogs, and one cat. She earned her Registered Dental Assistant certification in Texas after completing a nine-month program at Remington College with a 4.0 GPA.

Mayra’s favorite part of being a dental assistant is creating a fun, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. She loves building lasting relationships and connecting with patients through conversations about life’s biggest moments — from travel and weddings to growing families and kids’ activities. Outside the office, Mayra enjoys exploring Nevada and California through camping, hiking, and fly fishing. She’s also a proud member of the Sierra Sisters Hiking Club and loves traveling back to Houston to spend time with family.
